Sinate formed in June 2005. In August 05 they recorded their debut full length album ‘Beyond Human’ at York St Studios in Auckland and released it in September 05 to rave reviews and it reached No. 6 on the NZ Independant music charts. They have made 3 videos for the album.

In Oct/Nov 05 Sinate embarked on a 8 date tour of NZ to promote 'Beyond Human'. Then in Jan/Feb/Mar 06 they headed off on a 17 date tour of NZ headlining with local acts supporting. At the end of the tour they flew to Vasteras, Sweden to record their second album ‘Violent Ambitions’. The album was engineered/produced by Pelle Saether At Underground Studio. Whilst there, they headlined a show with bands from across Sweden and received radio and newspaper press. Violent Ambitions was released in Oct 06.

Sinate then went to Brisbane, Australia to play with local legends State Of Integrity for 3 dates including the popular Hellfest, then flying back to NZ for a 6 date national tour with State Of Integrity and Christchurch’s Tainted.

Sinate played the Main Stage at Auckland's Big Day Out in Jan 07 before heading off on another National Tour which included 23 dates and supported such acts as Suffocation, God Forbid and the almighty SLAYER!

Sinate have plans to tour Australia, USA, Europe and Japan in the near future, as well as releasing their 3rd album.

In their 2 years of being together Sinate has played over 80 shows from Whangarei to Invercargill to Australia and Sweden, and also receiving endorsement from Randall Amplifiers USA and sponsorship from Drum City AKL and Musicworks.
